Jing Pro Users:
- You can use a webcam with Jing, but you won't see the button if your webcam isn't connected.
- You can send videos to YouTube.
- What if you paid for Jing Pro, but you still have the free version of Jing? First restart Jing. If you're still not Pro, click More > Preferences and verify your account (email address) is associated with the one on your Jing Pro purchase. For example, some people sign up for Jing using their Gmail account, yet when they go to purchase Jing Pro they use their Yahoo! (or some other) email address.
All Jing Users:
- Click and drag the cross hairs to capture any size region of your screen. Hold Shift or Ctrl to have the area snap to popular standard dimensions.
- Set a Hotkey to initiate captures. Not only is this convenient, it makes things like capturing drop down menus possible.
- You can move, or get rid of the Jing "Sun" Launcher. You can also make it so Jing doesn't start up when your computer does.
- Jing's History can help you manage and reuse your captures. Note that if you delete a capture from your History, it will also delete the actual content.
