To configure startup and launcher options:
Click More, then Preferences. Note that if you hide the sun and later change your mind you can right click Jing in your System Tray or menu bar and then click More > Preferences to modify an option.

Jing Startup and "Sun" Options
By default Jing starts when your computer does, and appears as a Sun on the edge of your screen. But, you're the boss of that behavior so if you don't like it, you can change it.
