Jing Presenter Materials for Download

Want an easy way to spread the word about Jing? We've created a batch of materials you can download and use at your discretion. They're a little biased toward the education field, but most of it is applicable to everyone. You can also feel free to alter the PowerPoint presentation and use our graphics and stuff in your materials.

Audio FAQs

Two common audio problems are Jing not recording the microphone and having trouble trying to record system audio.

Produce Jing Video in Camtasia Studio 6 and Upload to Screencast.com

Once your video is in Camtasia Studio 6 there are many editing features available and multiple ways to produce the video. What if you want to send your video back to Screencast.com? Here's the direct path from the Editor through the Production Wizard up to Screencast.com.

Video Formats: SWF & MPEG-4

Jing Pro allows you to create MPEG-4 (also often referred to as MP4) videos in addition to SWF videos. Jing can only capture video in SWF format. What's the difference?

FTP Custom Code (Advanced Topic)

Jing can automatically return html embed code for Screencast.com, Flickr and YouTube. You must create your own FTP custom code or html embed code.

YouTube Videos Out of Sync? (Mac-only topic)

Some videos uploaded to YouTube from Macintosh computers can experience a situation where the video is out of sync with the audio.

Understanding the Jing Pro Video Formats

Jing Pro allows you to record video in SWF and MPEG-4 video formats. Which one's better? Usually MPEG-4, but there are some exceptions. This post is for everyday Jing Pro users and my goal here is to show you a bit about why and when you'd want to use one format over the other.

Move the Sun Launcher

By default, Jing's sun launcher will be placed on top of your screen (Windows) or in the upper right corner (Macintosh). But it doesn't have to stay there - you can move it to different locations on your desktop.
