The videos are not out of sync when viewed locally, on Screencast.com, Vimeo or Viddler. We are working with YouTube to figure out how to remedy this situation.
In the meantime we have some tips for minimizing or eliminating this problem.
- Lower your screen resolution in System Preferences > Displays. It'll make it easier for viewers to see what you're doing and is a good tip in general when posting to sites that resize your videos.
- Don't record the entire screen if you don't have to. Just record the part the viewer really needs to see.
- Quit programs you're not using. The harder your computer has to work, the more frames will be dropped from the recording and therefore the more out of sync your video may be on YouTube.
- Quit and restart Jing.
